Open Access Days 2023 in Berlin, 27 to 29 september 2023

The Open Access Days will take place from 27 to 29 September at Freie Universität in Berlin, the motto is "Shaping Visions". In 2003, the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities and Cultural Heritage was adopted. 20 years later, Berlin is again becoming a focal point of the Open Access movement and presents co-operations between the university and non-university sectors with regard to free access to scientific output.



International Open Access Week: Community over Commercialization, October 23 - 29, 2023

The International Open Access Week 2023 is an opportunity to join together, take action, and raise awareness about the importance of sharing knowledge. This year, there will be an international discussion about which approaches are suitable for open science and which are not. Events of various kinds can be designed for this purpose and announced on the Open Access Week platform. All educational institutions can participate.
