The department is part of the DLE Library and Archive Services and offers specific repositories (university document servers) in cooperation with the Vienna University Computer Center. The systems are suitable for use in research and teaching or collections and for the storage and publication of scientific materials. The department also advises researchers and teachers at the University of Vienna on digital long-term archiving and research data management (RDM).
