RepManNet is a network of about 170 members of staff of Austrian institutions who are in charge of repository management. The network was founded in autumn 2016 by Susanne Blumesberger, Head of Repository Management PHAIDRA Services at the University Library Vienna. RepManNet offers an exchange of experiences, special issues and challenges in regular meetings to prioritize key aspects of scientific digital repositories. Lectures and workshops held by experts will consistently deepen its members' knowledge about repository management. At present, around 60 institutions are members of the network.

Relevant Information is published on a projected open platform for all members, our wiki. This platform is a communication space for all issues of repository management and allow for discussions of prospective agendas and functions to improve systems in collaborative work.

RepManNet Targets:

RepManNet is an Austria-wide network of people who are entrusted with the operation of repositories. Independent of size, content and technology, a professional exchange on different topics shall take place and possible strategies and solutions for open questions shall be sought. At the same time, the network also serves as a forum for discussion about future functions and tasks of a repository and the associated requirements. Presentations by experts and various events are intended to deepen our knowledge of repositories and thus contribute to the optimization of the systems.
